- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about 2009-2011 Impala having Diagnostic Trouble Code B001A, B001B, B0015, or B0022 set in the Sensing and Diagnostic Module. Technician should be advised at the beginning of the 2009 model year the Impala began being equipped with two pretensioners for the driver and two pretensioners for the front passenger. The first pretensioner is still attached to the seat belt retractor. The second pretensioner is attached to the anchor point for the seat belt.
