There was an EXTREMELY bad smell in the car. I noticed it was worse in the mornings after sitting with the windows up overnight, and whenever the panel vents were on (like for the A/C) it got worse, as though it were coming form the air ducts. It smelled like a dead rotten animal or a skunk had sprayed into the air duct system. Think gag reflex.
