The 4 Chevy dealer window vents I installed started making wind noise about 2 months after I installed them. The passenger side (both), then started blocking the window from going all the way up. After about a month of that, the front window broke the plastic window vent. I took all 4 vents off, bought another set from the dealer and paid to have them installed. They are all still working there way loose and making the wind noise. Been to the dealer about it, they re-taped them, it worked for about a 2 months again, and they're loose again, going back to the dealer next week.
I think it's the poor design of the vents, not enough adhesive surface to keep them in place. I have 2 other cars with window vents and no problem with them for years now.
