I was driving down the highway and they wheel got tight followed by the service power steering flashing on the dashboard. I was able to maneuver the car home and once I got it home the steering wheel became to hard to turn at all.
The car shuddered on initial start-up, turned it off waited for a minute. Restarted ran normally. The next day on start-up dic alerted to ABS, powersteering, and stabilitack in need of service, noticeable difference in steering control, wheel slippage on quick exhilaration, I tried to brake more cautiously so as not to test my braking ability. Definitely a safety issue. Should be recalled. Had the same problem a year ago spending $495. To have the opposite wheel hub and brg assembly. Hope this isn't an annual event. Love my car but hate expenses that should not occur with a car; especially under 100,000 miles. Why did this happen? there is nothing to blame it on such as hitting a pothole. The weather has been colder, there has been a reference to that as well as some say it is a wiring harness that is in a bad location, wearing exposing wires that make contact with metal. Research shows that other drivers are having the same issue and expense. How many complaints will it take before this safety issue is addressed and customers are refunded this unnecessary expense

The park brake assist light, service brakes and service power steering assist lights came on while driving in the rain. The stabiltrak and ABS lights were on prior to this. The steering wheel became hard to steer. Was able to get home and park.
I just got my car back from the dealer and not even a day later after they had it for 3 days they told me that they could find nothing wrong with my car. But as I am riding down the highway I was going about 65 and my car shut and came back on. I lost control of my steering wheel, then the car started driving normal. Once I arrived to my job and turned the car off. My vehicle shut off and the ignition lights along with the side panel lights was blanking but nothing else was on. I couldn't put my windows up and the car wouldn't cut on so I left it for a few minutes and walked back outside after 5 minutes because I noticed all of my outside lights where on, and at this time. I was able to cut my car on and off but I don't know what to expect when I get ready to leave. I need someone to contact me so I can get this fix because its becoming annoying and I am a disabled veteran and its working my mental.
I pulled into my garage and cut of my car. After opening the door my seat wouldn't move forward like it always does. That's when my dash board gave me an error message stating that I need to roll my driver side window down. So, I did that but the next day my navigation system was off along with my radio and on-star system. So I drove to the gas station before heading to work, and when I tried to get in my car the power was off. I went under-hood to see if the battery was loose but it wasn't. so I shut the hood got back in the car and everything including my radio, gps, and on-star came back on. I headed out to work and that is when my car shut off while I was driving on the freeway at 70 mph and the error message said warning no power steering. I got to work safely and realized I left something in my car and that is when my car show signs that it was dead, but after manually getting into my car the power came back on. I also have issues with water getting into my trunk which is what the dealership told me was possibly causing the issues. As a disabled veteran this messes with my ptsd and financially I cant afford to keep paying for an issue that I see my 2014 Impala drivers have. I love the car but hate these issues. I need help with this car and the issues.

When turning left, there is a grinding noise coming from the left front wheel. This grinding noise will also turn on the 'service stabilitrak' and 'service ABS' lights. These come on intermittently. I have had several shops including dealerships look at it and are unable to fix it. I have read hundreds of other folks are having this same issue with the same body style for the years. It is time for GM and Chevrolet to find a solution and recall it.

I drove a short distance to check, shut car off and it did the same thing same warning. Shut off and waited 15 minutes again and it worked. It is now parked scared to drive afraid it will power steering will stop working while driving.

I was driving on a highway at approximately 60 mph and an alert sounded off and on my infotainment center I had a visual alert of a problem with my power steering. The power steering went out completely. It is extremely hard to turn the steering wheel without power assist and I find it incredibly dangerous. We had to cancel our 3 day vacation because I couldn't trust my strength to turn the steering wheel while driving mountain roads. I live in Alaska. This, to me, is a safety issue.
I drifted over the rumble strips while driving 60mph and corrected course - immediately the service display showed service: Power steering drive with care and service: Stabilitrak. Then I noticed the power steering had gone out. Got home, shut the car off and turned it back on and the same notice popped up. We checked the serpentine belt and it seemed fine. The next day when I started the car, the service lights were still up. I drove it around and suddenly everything was fine and the service display went away.
I was driving on the highway at night and and my power steering and stabilitrak ABS indicators came on and the vehicle became very difficult to turn/handle with out warning.

When driving the car it the steering wheel is very delicate to the touch. The steering wheel will easy to move when turning the wheel that may lead to an over correcting and could cause an accident. Also when driving the back wheels will away side to side when hitting bumps causing the steering wheel to move causing the driver to turn it the opposite way for the vehicle to stay in it's lane, however if the driver does not have control it may cause a crash.
