The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that after she started the vehicle, she smelled a burning odor then heard a popping sound. The contact then stated that she turned the vehicle off and waited then restarted the vehicle and proceeded to drive. The contact then stated that she noticed what appeared to be snow on the rear windshield; however, the windshield then caved in. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 139,428.
