Intermittently when applying brakes, there is a grinding sound like metal to metal. Brakes feel spongy, and the ABS warning light comes on. This happens on dry pavement or wet pavement. The problem is more noticeable in stop and go traffic. Problem was reported to the dealership. The problem has not been corrected.
While driving and applying brakes front end of vehicle vibrated severely.this problem has been occurring due to premature wearing of brake pads and rotors. Rotors on disc brakes warped causing brake pads to wear unevenly.
Due to the excessive wear of the brake rotors and pads, when traveling and upon depressing the brake pedal to make a normal stop, consumer noticed a griding sound coming from the front end. Also, there was vibration within the steering column. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has replaced brake rotors and pads. Problem still occurs.

While driving the brakes are wearing down and had to be replaced every 6-8 weeks because of the whinnig in the brakes.dealer was contacted and was aware of the problem, but there was no recall. Please provide any futher information.
