The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the turn signals automatically turn on and off intermittently. Occasionally, the turn signals do not work at all. The dealer stated that his VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number 03V327000 (exterior lighting:hazard flashing warning lights:switch). The current mileage was 68,000 and failure mileage was 50,000.

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu, , it has been experiencing intermittent turn signal, hazard lights for some months. The behavior matches that described in NHTSA campaign id number 03V327000. I contacted GM and was told that my car was not included in their recall 03043.

The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu. While driving 55 mph, she heard a buzzing noise coming from the front of the vehicle near the hazard switch. Approximately 15 minutes later she was unable to activate the turn signal. There is a recall for the exterior lighting: Hazard flashing warning lights: Switch (NHTSA campaign id # 03V327000) however; the manufacturer stated that her VIN was not included as part of the recall. The failure and current mileages were 131,000.
