This is the most unreliable car I have ever experienced in 54 years driving !
I am a trained Automotive Engineer, Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and Europe, so tend to carry out my own maintenance where possible.
My previous cars have been sold or passed on to Son or Daughter while running up to 550,000 Km. Usually with only minor problems during this period.
The list for my Malibu however includes :- 3 front wheel bearings; 3 resistor packs; one intake manifold gasket; one water pump; one fuel pump; replace rusted out fuel and brake lines all in only 260,000 Km.
