I bought my 2006 malibu used in January of 2008. A few months later, like 3 months later, I noticed a knocking noise from the right front wheel. I took it into Firestone and they said it was the bearings. Luckily, I purchased an extended warranty and still had 2,500 miles left on it so it wasn't of cost to me. This did fix it for a little while but soon after, the noise came back. Other shops that had looked at it said they didn't know what it was. Then in October 2012, I was told it was the struts; had those replaced. Again, this helped for a little bit but shortly after the noise came back. Then in 2013, I took it back and was told it was my shocks. Aren't we lucky to own one of the only vehicles that has struts and shocks?!!! Had those replaced. Of course, as it seems with any other issue with the vehicle, it's back. Will nothing completely fix it?
