GM sold the 2006 Malibu with the 4T65E transmission knowing that it was scrap from original equipment, the problem is unbelievable, terrible transmission shifting, jerking and slipping - starting at 0 mi - yes, starting right out the dealer's door.
GM still offers a coupon on their US dealer service/repair sites - for $200.00 off a replacement transmission for model yr 08 or older
Thanks for nothing. My father bought GM, I bought GM, never, never, ever, buy GM again. Sorry North American economy....I cannot afford this deliberate fraud - I just do not have the money. Buy Japanese.
