I had a 1993 toyota camry with 357000 miles. It died and I bought a used 2007 Malibu. The malibu had 130000 miles on it. OMG Replaced struts, shocks, front tires, catalytic converter/manifold, brakes, electric steering, and now the AC is out with a $1600.00 replacement cost. All this within 5000 miles. This car cost more to repair than a BMW. I am on my way to trade and will never buy a chevrolet again.

All summer we couldn't depend on the AC working. Sometimes it would work but at least half the time it wouldn't, and when it quits so does the fuel gauge and at least one of the idiot lights comes on, oh yes, the temp gauge reads cold but of course it is really at normal temperature. If we happened to get it to work it would stay working as long as we didn't turn it off. This is a low mileage car and shouldn't be having these stupid problems. Our car is always parked in our garage when not in use and is treated with care.

I found the Mexican website someone recommended and when I get a chance I'm going to try out it's suggestions. I hate working on that plastic junk though because they always hide how the little plastic tabs work so in finding out how they work you inevitably break the dammed things off and end up having to JB WELD it all back together. I'd MUCH sooner have my car weigh a few pound more and have these things made out of metal with real screws and bolts where they can be seen so they can be dissembled, fixed and reassembled easily to save THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!!!! not to mention the thousand of cusswords along with the high blood pressure and mental illness brought on by all the frustration of all this vanity of having everything hidden.

I HATE ALL THIS MODERN CRAP !!!!! My 69 Merc has perfectly working air conditioning and has never had a problem, I had to change the ignition switch......10 minutes flat !!! Detroit, what's wrong with this picture? Why do you guys insist on pissing off your customers? When we're paying $20,000+ for a stinking car we shouldn't be getting such a pile of crap !!!
