I bought my car brand new in 2007...The seat bracket broke at 58,000 miles. Part number 15908716 (frame) was replaced and I was charged $150. They said that was a good faith payment. They would fix it because it was still under 100,000 miles. (I am guessing) Fast forward 9 years and my car now has 130,975 miles. Guess what? The seat bracket broke again. Take it to John Jones GM in Salem, Indiana. They tell me that they can give me $200 off but my cost will be $1,000 to fix (for parts and labor). I am already having back problems from driving with a broken seat so I opt to fix it. Part number 15908716...the same part!!!!! But obviously, I am getting in the car incorrectly! WRONG!!! A seat should never break...especially the same part...twice!!! They tell me that I can take it up with GM customer service. GM sends me back to John Jones who tells me that they already gave me $200 off and in using the "GM calculator" that is all that they can do for me. I tell them that is not good enough and I want to be sent higher up the chain of command. That was a week ago and I still have heard nothing. I don't know what a GM calculator is...but I bet that it's top priority isn't customer service or customer safety. I am very disappointed in GM and John Jones Chevrolet in Salem Indiana!
