I have had two steering gear replacements and it still clunks in hot weather. Sounds like the wheels or suspension is falling off when I go over a bump or turn. I have had the steering column replaced and both lower steering arms replaced. Dealership says they think it is the steering gear. I had it replaced in October and when I was in Florida with it in December, it was clunking again - but just when the weather was over 75. I've spent over $2000 and can't get any answers from anyone. I just learn to live with it.
