I noticed last week when I put on my drivers side heated seat it was getting so hot I had to turn it off because it was burning my butt. I hadn't used it since last winter. The seat belt recall was completed on my car in April 2016 which they had to remove my seat for the repair. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I figured it is worth mentioning. Last night I turned it on and again, burning hot and I smelled a burning smell. I got out of the car and it has burned a hole right through the seat. I am lucky my car didn't catch fire.
