During the month of August here in Alabama it very hot. I started smelling a rubber like smell inside my car then my fan stop blowing air. Then a few days later it came back on and worked for about 2-3 days then stop again. Then it stop all together. Took it in to the shop and learn the connector at the resistor is plastic and had go hot and shorted out and melted which cause the two peice to infuse together. And th cost to fix it will be $450.00. This is a manufacter defect . This part shouldn't have been made of plastic. Because it was it should be a recall. At less a 80% discount on repair.
