We only had the car for about a year and the seams on the driver seat started to pull away from each other. Our dealership replaced the seat because it was covered under the warranty. About 2 years later we noticed that the seats on the side of the front driver and passenger had cracks along it by the cushion and the top of the front driver seats started to crack and peel. I am not a heavy person by any means and this should not have happened under normal wear and tear. We talked to the dealership again about this and they said that since this is normal wear and tear, it is not covered under the warranty anymore because of the mileage now over the warrenty. The car is only 5 years old. I noticed the seam is started to give away on the passenger side front seat also now.
