Rear view mirror gives great view through rear window, but because roof is so low-slung for aerodynamic reasons the mirror is low too, and blocks the view out the windshield, and I'm only 5'10'' tall. I've heard of blind spots on a vehicle, but out the windshield? Poor design, and dangerous as I could not see through almost 25% of the windshield without ducking down in drivers seat. I found this out during a test drive, and as much as I liked the car otherwise, I didn't buy it for that reason alone.
