Had to take this one up with GM Canada to get it fixed. The dealership kept insisting that it was working properly but I could never get the engine to shut itself off. Finally I went with the dealership during a diagnostic test drive and the technician couldn't get the engine to shut itself off. The fix was simply to reprogram the computer and it worked like new after that. Although the dealership handled the situation poorly I must admit GM Canada was VERY good in dealing with the dealership and making sure the problem was fixed
