I believe the problem was there when the car was new. Once it got bad enough we took it to the local dealer who said...if the computer did not put a problem code out there was nothing they could do...they checked it out and found the transmission was almost a quart low of fluid.

After a long trip we took it to another dealer who had the car on and off for more than 70 days...they verified the problem and replaced an injector. They drove the car about 1000 miles in the process. They actually did something I asked them not to do by allowing an employee to drive the car home each evening trying to replicate the problem. The dealer was good, supplying a loaner car and were very friendly even coming to my home....about 50 miles away to have me replicate the problem which we did.

Once the car was "fixed", the car idles at a fast speed when started, about 1300RPM. It also pulls a good bit when increasing speeds to the right or left. The dealer says this is standard for the car....so I went to another dealer and drove a same model with the same engine. None of these problems were evident. It drove very nicely.

Our car still has less than 9000 miles and GM has called us several times....we asked for them to replace the car or buy it back. They think the problem is fixed. They are not listening to a customer that started to buy GM brand new cars at the age of 16 and has not had a problem with the purchase of any of those cars over 40 years. We traded in a Toyota to buy this car. I would recommend not buying a Chevy car....stay with the Toyota's. That is what I will be doing next time.
