A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

Since I have had the car, Brand New Car at that, it has always had issues. The radio and A/C both turn all the way off when I stop and it even drops my Bluetooth calls when I stop at a light.

It also has had a couple of times where I was pushing on the gas and it was going even slower to more I pushed it, I took it into the shop they said nothing is wrong with it. It happened two more times after that, and it always has a code that come up (Stabily track) idk know what that means, the check engine light has been on for almost 2 years now which stops it from remote starting because the check engine light is on.

Malibu LS 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,824 miles

When I first purchased the vehicle in May 2017 I complained about the auto shut off turning off the radio and the air conditioner whenever I apply the brake in stopping motion. The dealer replaced the auto shut off battery. Then the vehicle begin to cut off and back on while backing or changing gears. As much as I love Chevy this is the worst feature they could have jumped band wagon with. They say its suppose to save gas, and I can't disagree with that,. However living in Texas, I do not need a auto shut off that will decrease my air at the red light or cut me off in the middle of a traffic jam. AUTO SHUT OFF DECREASES THE AIR FLOW BY TURNING OFF THE AC, WEAR AND TARE ON THE STARTER AND I BELEIVE THE CAUSE FOR THIS REDUCTION IN PRESSURE WHEN TURNING CORNERS OR EXCCELERATING ONTO THE HIGHWAY. I have been complaining about the same issue over a year. Only fix was to change the battery which has kept the radio on during auto shut of mode but did not fix the air issue. I LITERALLY HATE THIS CARE DUE TO THE AUTO SHUT OFF MODE!! PLEASE HELP

Malibu LS 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,000 miles

START/STOP "ACCESSORY" RANDOMLY CAUSES MY RADIO TO SHUT OFF/ON, ITS ALSO EFFECTING MY BLUETOOTH. I ALREADY REPLACED THE RADIO ONCE WHEN IT HAD LESS THAN 36K, BECAUSE IT RANDOMLY SHUT OFF AS WELL. TOOK CAR IN BECAUSE THE ROCKER ARM CONTROL VALVE IS JACKED UP TOO... THANK GOD THAT WAS COVERS UNDER POWER TRAIN.

THEY WANT 280 JUST TO GET IN TO LOOK AT PROBLEM WITH RADIO APPARENTLY THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN ON IT... HOPING FOR A RECALL, OR SOME GM ASSISTANCE, THIS CARS WAY TO NEW TO BE HAVING THESE ISSUES
