17246 - Service Update. Vehicles that have been serviced for an electric power steering (EPS) motor condition, may have had the motor installed/reinstalled with the incorrect fastener torque, resulting in insufficient clamp load. Dealers are to tighten the fasteners to the revised specification, to achieve the specified torque.
