The turn signal flasher clicks constantly. The problem is with the turn signal multifunction switch. The problem is the Dealership price ranges from $250-350 depending upon possible mechanic discounts. I am a mechanic and I can get it for $250. A regular person would have to pay $350. I also can find them on EBAY for about $100 aftermarket. Gm has had this problem on other models and years from about 1997 to approx 2003. There is no way a switch should cost this much. Even $100 is a little hard to swallow.

Silverado LT 5.3

since about a year there is occasionally (quite often and seems to get oftener every time) a clicking sound that seems to come from inside the dash, somewhere around the steering. It sounds just like the contactor of the turn signal, but the signal lights are not on and do not show any light. Who knows the answer to this failure? please let me know.
