I have a 1999 2500 Chevy Silverado, while pulling a loaded horse trailer it burned the number 7 piston. I rebuilt the engine, it ran fine for about 400 miles. Then while pulling another load, it burned the number 4 piston. I have pulled the trailer loaded many times with no problem. I talked to a Chevy dealer and he said the fuel pressure was fine. It has 58psi with key on and 48psi at idle and 56psi under load and cat. converter has also checked out fine. Before the piston burned the engine light blinked for a few seconds, and then the motor was shot....
