1st let me say i love this truck but the window problem needs to be addressed. It is January 31 in NH and the weather is near 3deg and when the window fails to roll back up it is more then annoying. This is the 4th window motor in this door in 3 years. Each motor has been a "factory rebuilt" and always reoccurred past the warranty, of course. this has to be more then just bad luck. I feel it has to be a design flaw. is there anyone else going through this type of motor issue?

In 2007 My power window for the front drivers side quit working. So i was told that the window motor was bad and since it was original equipment the complete window assembly(motor and regulator) had to be replaced because the regulator was welded together with the power window motor and frame. After replacing the drivers side motor and regulator and $350.00 lighter in the rear, the power window switch for the same window went bad. This happened in 2008.So $120.00 later a new switch(dealer item only of course) and by the way there is maybe $5.00 in the make-up of the switch,my window worked!!!.Well HELLS BELLS,now the same problem is back this year-2009 and the window works sometimes.I have checked the switch and the ohm meter says the switch is good.I checked the motor and motor is good. The motor does not have open winding. The meter says "IT'S GOOD".The wire harness from the motor to the switch looks good,no signs of broken, corroded or bad connection of wiring.Switch looks good there is contact being made in the up/down position.Voltage is good. Can some body help me???
