I am careful with my truck use best oil never hot rod coast to stops why are the older pick ups better than the so called new ones?I have gaskets replaced ( 56,000) miles twice on intake manifold second(76,000) time better gaskets and different mechanic.both mechanics said that was common problem with V6.Now service seat belt light is on mechanic put computer on it problem is left front sensor replaced that then it shows three problems and the clock spring in steering now makes noise when turning.Mechanic said was very common prob on chevy also same mechanic replaced shaft in steering column because of noise and felt unsafe started making noise 60,000 miles went to chevy dealer he says it is common problem but safe to drive at 100,000 I had it replaced the same mechanic said its common problem on General Motors I have driven General Motors vehicles since i start driving but i don't think Obama did such a good thing when he bailed out G.M. no more G.M. for me
