When I called Chevrolet with this problem, service department told me 03/04 were recalled for this problem but 05 was not. So it will cost me $500.00 to fix. I bought this vehicle with 1 mile in Dec of 04 and only body changes not part changes. I have filed a complaint before and was told to contact the service rep to ask for a good will repair. I have called the Chevrolet rep many times and left messages. He has never returned my call. I have been told to speak with the factory zone rep. and now no one seems to know. This Chevrolet place is located in Lake Jackson, Tx. I have to use the RPM tact to make sure I'm not speeding. I'm 57 and have had one ticket in my lifetime and do not wish to have one again. I also do not believe I should have to pay for the same part that was a recall only a month before my vehicle. Thank you for listening. I am getting anxious enough to go public with this not as a threat but simply because if I ran my business by ignoring customers don't believe I would be here long.
