My 2005 chevy silverado has lights that flicker. My headlights flicker when driving at night. My dome lights inside my truck flicker also. I have been to 2 different dealers and they both give the same answer that in 2005 and 2006 vehicles GM has installed an alternator that will cause flickering when the alternator gauge needle decreases or increases around 14 to 19 on the meter. You will see the gauge bouncing up and down when this occurs. Which will cause the light system to flicker. Has anyone else dealt with this annoying problem that can't be fixed ?????
