clutch master cylinder failure clutch master cylinder failure

Changing gears has become more difficult over a couple years. Drove to a grocery store and my clutch just dropped to the floor. Discovered the master cylinder detached from the firewall because the mount is made out of thin plastic. Who ever designed this component is an idiot or $$$. Will probably never but a Chevrolet again because of this common problem and how bad the engine pings and leaks oil.

Only 65,000 miles. This should be fixed for free, what a joke.

clutch master cylinder failure clutch master cylinder failure

Cannot believe the clutch master cylinder broke! Cheaply made. I wish someone had a fix for this? Do not know where to get parts for this or how to remove the clutch pedal, I have it loose but may need to remove the dash to get it out? Then I have to find a replacement for the one that broke?
