Using one quart of oil every 1500 miles. Smoking on start up but do not notice smoking while driving down the road. Noticed using oil at about 40,000 miles. Dealer said it was excessive oil consumption but would only pay half of the cost for a new engine. I have babied this truck. For a 2006 with only 110,000 miles it pitiful that it uses this much oil.
