Bought this truck new in 06. Drive it 2-3 times a week for short distances. Started making a tapping noise on left side of engine. Had a mechanic friend look at it and he thought it sounded like a lifter. Talked to service advisor at dealer to see if there might be a secret warranty or if they would fix because of such low miles. No luck . He said could possibly be carbon breaking loose. Service advisor and mechanic friend both suggested adding Lucas oil to next oil change.
