A couple model years back, the 2007 Silverado has an oil consumption defect at low mileage (~50k miles) — so far there's only a very few reports of the same problem with the 2009 Silverado.
The 2009 Silverado received poor side impact ratings on models not equipped with the optional side air bags.
I'm not sure what is going on, everytime I add gas to my truck, it has trouble starting. The lower I let my tank get the harder it is to start, I'm trying to fill up now after using only 1 quarter of a tank. It takes forever to crank over after filling up sometimes not at all. It may even take 3 or 4 times to get it to start. It only has trouble when I add gas any other start up has no problem. Has anyone had this happen? Ive asked several people and they have no clue
