The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving 20 mph, the front driver and passenger side wheel hubs make a loud grinding noise. There is a potential of the wheel separating from the vehicle and causing a crash. The failure occurred intermittently initially, but is now constant. The hub itself is loose on both sides of the vehicle. The dealer stated that they have not experienced any failures with the bearings. The purchase date was unknown. The current mileage was 45,600 and failure mileage was 39,500.
