GM recall #2049151 (NHTSA #16V381) was issued May 27, 2016, over 4 years ago. The status of the recall has remained "incomplete. Remedy not yet available" for years while I drive around in a vehicle that the NHTSA has deemed unsafe, placing me and my family in danger. The us government, through must order GM to comply with repairs/replacement of these affected vehicles immediately and ensure compliance by significant and on-going fines for each vehicle not remediated until compliance.
