I used the remote start earlier that day, hooked up a trailer, drove 30 miles, shut off the vehicle. Started again a few minutes later, drove ~80 miles, stopped and shut off the ignition, but the engine didn't stop. Turned on the ignition, then off again several times, with no change. Everything works on the instrument panel. Did have a "repair trailer brake system" message on the message center, which stayed even after unplugging the trailer.

Finally shut off the engine by pulling the "Run" fuse. Tried the remote start with no luck. The ignition starts the pickup normally, but will not shut the engine off. Instrument panel goes on and off with the change in the ignition switch, like normal.

Pulled the battery cables, once the engine was not running to get the system to reset. Reinstalled the battery cables, but there was no change in the previous condition; starts normal with ignition, remote start does not work and I can only get the engine to quit running by pulling the "run" fuse.

Update from Apr 19, 2023: Had to replace the trailer module and download the software to the main computer. $3000.00.

Still am having computer issues every now and again, that seem to solve themselves after a few minutes. Computers are a blessing and a curse!
