The contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. While driving approximately 4 mph, the vehicle lunged forward. The failure occurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic where the wheel speed sensor and wheel bearing hubs were replaced. After the vehicle was repaired the failure continued. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.

The contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at a slow speed and attempting to apply the brakes the vehicle responded as if the anti-lock braking system was engaged. A mechanic stated that the speed sensor on the wheels may have been defective. The contact stated that failure was directly related to the service brake recall for the anti-lock brakes on the 2000-2002 Chevrolet Tahoe under campaign number 05V379000. The failure mileage was 119,000. The current mileage was 125,000.
