So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I have owned my Tahoe for almost 3 years, and I have had the front hubs/wheel bearings replaced 3 times. Since they were a one piece assembly, they were rather expensive. I have put almost 70000 miles on it since I have owned it, and never had any other problems with this truck.
During owner preventative maintenance (tire rotation and front end grease) upper control arm ball joint rubber boot was found ripped and play was noted in driver front wheel hub. Upon tire rotation with tire off the ground audible grinding noise could be heard from wheel bearings. During inspection of passanger front wheel the same audible grinding was noted from the wheel bearings. Dealer replaced both front hubs and uppercontrol arm under warranty.
