The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the rear liftgate would not release when attempting to access with the automatic door lock or key fob. The contact was in the process of notifying both the manufacturer and dealer regarding the defect. The failure mileage was 82,024. Updated 6/8/11 updated 06/23/11
The molding for the hinges on the rear glass hatch starting cracking. Hinges broke when opening the rear hatch glass fell half way out almost hitting me, didn't brake. My back glass will not operate properly and im having to cover it with a tarp so rain doesn't get inside. Nothing permanent has been done yet.
