The Driver side door rear door handle has popped loose. Now when I open my rear driver side door I have to push it in and then keep pulling like 5 to 6 freaking times. It is embarrassing around other Tahoes, they just should make it's ass a recall. It is so annoying I hate it.

Tahoe LTZ 5.3L

Door handles pull away from the door on all 4 - doors, causing it to snap holding bolts. Water has a new way of entering and rotting out the doors. Easy access for a car thief, no need to jimmy a lock, just rip the door handle off and yank the rod. Inner handles -on all 4 doors - Chrome is peeling off, sharp and jagged. Easy to cut the hand of child.

The first door handle to break off was the passenger side front door then the back driver side. I had to get both of them replaced, Nothing like riding ghetto :)

Come on now. Problem number three. Is this a disposable truck? Chevy keeps saying longest last truck on the market. What if you don't have $1000 a month to fix everything breaking.

One of the door handles came loose and I had to replace it. I did not take it to Chevrolet because I knew that it would cost an arm and leg. I went to a Body Shop instead and it cost me $130.00 and I discovered that these chrome looking door handles are actually plastic. I could not believe that with the price of this vehicle they would put plastic door handles versus chrome. Just recently, I had to replace a 2nd door handle as well. If someone tries to open the door when it is locked, this will more than likely cause the handle to break because of the strength one uses to open a door. You can't pull on these handles with any strength at all. What a cheap way to build a vehicle.
