lifter spun and wore out the camshaft
I change my oil every 3,000 mile and use Mobil One synthetic. This happened all of a sudden pulling out of a gas station, the lifter spun, lost compression on cylinder 6, ruined the motor and the catalytic converter. Found a used motor for $2,600 with 60,000 miles on it. Hope this one works better. I'm going to go ahead and rebuild this motor and keep it as a spare because I've got a feeling the same sh*t is going to happen.
