"takata recall" -- GM recall #2049152; NHTSA #16V383. My Chevrolet Tahoe is now 8.5 years old. According to my information, if vehicle is more than 6 years old, it should be a priority for replacement or repair. Our Chevrolet should be on top of recall list. Although not consistent throughout the year, periods of hot and humid weather exists where I live; this condition, as stated in the recall, can add to the increase degradation of the airbag. Since I am now having to park the vehicle outside (instead of a garage), the increase risk has increased. Recall is almost two years old. Repair or replacement should exist by now. Chevrolet has ignored my requests for this recall repair. This is my second complaint to the hntsa
