I don't get out much, especially in the rain at night. After 29,000 miles on a 3 yo vehicle, and it's mostly used on long vacations (I am retired). Hi beams will flash on at times all by themselves. Only noticed about four times in last several months. It's a new car, and the bumper to bumper warranty was up six weeks ago!
The problem is so intermittent, I was hoping it would get worse. Twice it happened while driving thru rain (moisture related?). The warranty is an issue of its own merit, but I need this repaired. Could it have something to do with the fact automatic dimmer came out in 2019, and my vehicle has some wiring exposed where no sensor is present? Just a thought!
Update from Nov 29, 2021: As it turns out the Tahoe has Intel Hi Beams, but they have never worked. Dealer replaced the camera module behind the mirror at no cost,. Unsure what warranty covered this but the bill was over $700
