Seem like a lot of 2017 Chevy Volt models have the same issue.
The Brake Position Switch does not function properly and you need to put your foot under the pedal to use the Adaptive Cruise Control.
As soon as you take your foot away from under the brake pedal, the Cruise Control disengages with an "Adaptive Cruise Not Available. Try Later" error.
Placing your foot on the wrong side of the Brake Pedal is extremely DANGEROUS to you and other people on the road. You will not be able to apply the brakes fast enough to stop from an accident.
Why has Chevy been given a pass on fixing this obviously common problem?
