This is the fourth time we have found the car in a weird state. Lights blink when we press start, but engine won't start. Each time, we called for a jump start. Then it didn't happen again for weeks. Then is happened again. We took it to the dealer for an explanation, each time, three times. Each time, the answer was, there is nothing wrong with your car. This time, I had an obd2 code reader with me and I read the trouble codes to the mechanic: P1F64, P0A34, P2682, P0AC4, P25C9, C057F P AND U3018 P. (Although i don't think the "P" is part of the trouble code.)
Even with the trouble codes in hand, the answer is the same. Go home. There is nothing wrong, or, yes there is something wrong, but we can't fix it. They don't know what to fix!
Am I off-base when I say if they sell the car they should be able to fix it?
So, I bought a jump starter.
