CarComplaints.com Notes: The Chrysler Crossfire has a nasty habit of having the back window fall out. While there are reports of this happening to every model year (2004-08), the 2005 has it worst. Naturally this problem tends to happen beyond the standard 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty leaving owners to pick up the tab along with the shattered pieces of glass.

I thought was from air conditioner, as it seemed to stop when I turned it off, but now realize that's not it. The sound comes and goes lasting from 3-10 seconds. I would have it checked out, but my husband is so fed up with this car and the multitude of problems it always has, that I am waiting for a while to give him some time to cool down. Has anyone else experienced this squeal/whistling noise?
