Pacifica

  • 13,000 miles
An object fell between the midde seat and the electronic sliding door so when the door was electronically opened the object was caught causing the door to reverse and try to close however I was leaning throughthe door at that point and the door closed on my chest triggering the door to try and re-open. When the door started to repon I hit the object again immediately closing without enough time for me to get my body out. The door re-closed squishing me and stopped. I was able to push the side door button to openand wriggled out but there was a failure in the logic if the door hits something both opening then closing. This is a safety issue because if this happens the door can crush you.
