A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

AFTER 20,000 MILES I STARTED HAVING WINDOW ISSUES FIRST WITH DRIVER WINDOW, IT WOULDN'T RETRACK UP AND DOWN THEN WOULDN'T GO DOWN ALL THE WAY, THEN PASSENGER WINDOW STARTED DOING IT. ON OCCASIONS (DEPENDING ON WEATHER) I HAVE HAD TO CLIMB OUT THE PASSENGER DOOR TO GET OUT TO KEEP WINDOW UP SO RAIN DOESN'T GET IN THE CAR.

DEALER TRIED TO FIX NO LUCK THERE STILL AN ONGOING ISSUE, NEXT I HAVE NOW COUNTED 7 TIMES WHEN MY CAR WOULDN'T START AND SOMETIMES I WAS ABLE TO REMOTE START THE CAR SO I COULD DRIVE AWAY, TWO TIMES I SHOULD OF HAD HEAT COMING OUT THE VENTS BUT ENDED UP WITH COLD AIR (DURING WINTER). I HAVE CONTACTED THE MFG CAUSE AFTER SPEAKING TO A 2011 R/T OWNER (STICK SHIFT) SHE WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH HER WINDOWS AND IT DRAINED HER BATTERY, WHICH MAKES ME THINK THAT'S WHY MY CAR AT AGE 3 NEEDED A NEW BATTERY, WHEN ALL MY PRIOR VEHICLES NEVER NEEDED A NEW BATTERY AT AGE 3.

DODGE NEEDS TO FIGURE WHAT THE ISSUE IS BEFORE SOMEONE ENDS IN A CAR ACCIDENT CAUSE OF FAULTY EQUIPMENT. MY GUESS IS ITS EITHER AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE OR A COMPUTER ISSUE. THE CAR WILL FUNCTION CORRECTLY THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE COMMUNICATION LEVEL WITH THE COMPUTER AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DROPS THE BALL. NO DEALERSHIP (DODGE) HAS ANY CLUE WHATS WRONG WITH THE CHALLENGERS!!! MY DAUGHTER BOUGHT A DODGE DART TO ONLY HAVE IT TOTALLY CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME SHE HAS ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE WITH HER DART. NTSB NEEDS TO GET ON TOP OF THIS ASAP.

Started car about 15 min prior to let warm up. after driving for about ten miles, I notice car was blowing cold air. I took it off auto setting and did manual setting. Car still blowing cold air. I call the dealer, they told me to bring it in. So about two hrs later while taking it to the dealer, heater decide to start working. I still took it in to be checked. Well almost a 100 bucks later, they could not find anything wrong with it. However it did the same thing again about a month later. This time I did not take it to the dealer to give them another 100 bucks, so they could tell me nothing is wrong with it. I am serious thinking about getting rid of this car. I still have not heard anything from Dodge on when they going to fix the recall on the alternator. I guess they are waiting for it to go out on the highway.

It is very hard to drive your child to school in the morning with an inch of ice on your windshield and the defrost doesn't work. I always warm the car up for 15 minutes on cold mornings and thought that I just needed to get the car moving to get it to warm up. After stopping twice to pour my hot coffee on the windshield, I figured out the heat definitely was not working. I guess I could have driven in reverse the whole way since the back window defrosted. The heater actually decided to work an hour later, but it has now caused another question in my mind of the reliability of this vehicle.
