The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated the vehicle would shake whenever driving over a bump at approximately 60 mph or more. The vehicle would become very difficult to control during the failures, so the contact would have to decelerate to approximately 30 mph. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the steering column, as well as the upper and lower ball joints were replaced. The dealer stated that they were not sure what caused the failure. The failure mileage was 39,000 and the current mileage was 45,000.
