CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

The passenger side air conditioner is blowing out the hottest air I've ever felt, while the driver's side is blowing out cold air. Sometimes it's the opposite way, the driver side will blow out the hot air and the passenger side will blow out the cold air.

I purchased my pre-owned certified 2012 Ford Edge feeling confident I had made a great decision. One year later the air conditioner went out so I had it repaired to the tune of $700. The following year, almost to the date the air conditioner went out again. They replaced the compressor. $1700.00. So far the air conditioner is working fine but now it's winter and it doesn't seem to know what to do.

A/C only throws out cold air on passenger side. Driver side the heat is so hot, it's unbearable!! Why isn't there a recall? This is definitely a big problem.

passenger side air not cooling but driver side is

I was driving in Houston to visit family with my son in the passenger seat when the air temp got severely HoT on his side air vents. We sat in traffic and I had him Google any sort of troubleshooting available but nothing resulted. One I got to the family home, I looked at the venting behind the glovebox and it seemed to be functioning appropriately but the temperature coming out of the front 2vents on the passenger side kept getting so hot I couldn't stand to feel it. I'm stunned at what might be wrong with this damn car!
