CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

THIS MAKES ABOUT 6 TIMES IN PAST 2 YEARS THAT IT POWERS DOWN. HAVE TO PULL OVER, TURN OFF, RESTART AND GO, ALMOST REAR ENDED TWICE. WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL ON THIS?

Ford needs to recall these problems. They are WELL aware of the issues on multiple makes & models. However, they feel it is a "inconvenience" not a real problem. How the hell are you suppose to get off the road while on an 3 or 4 lane interstate going 65 mph & you loose power to the vehicle. Nice work FORD!!! It's TOTAL BULL SH** & YOU ALL KNOW
