How does a new car over $25k or more have a key fob where parts of it come off within first month of using it? I only put it in my pants pocket and it snagged to the point where metal pulled back and even poked/cut my skin and I was bleeding. Pretty cheap materials and design. I would have rather have it without the metal adhesive on there.

I'm using the 2nd provided key fab, but still a pain in but to have to replace batteries more than once a year. I now miss and prefer typical car keys.

metal trim peeled off of the key

Metal trim on key lifted and peeled off. Showed it to the local ford dealers and they are replacing the key under the warranty.
